The following explanation relates to the 6241A.
3.1 Measurement of Diode
This section describes an example of measuring diode forward voltage (VF) with pulse current.
CAUTION: Use a 4-wire connection for accurate measurement of the forward voltage.
The measurement conditions are described below.
VF measurement: Measure with pulse current for forward voltage (VF) at 100 mA to avoid influence from
the heat. Also use NULL calculation to compensate for the error in voltage-drop in a
2-wire connection cable.
