The Change Objective command moves the sample tray out of the way
to enable you to change the objective. When you use this command, you
will be prompted to change the objective when the sample tray has
cleared the area. When you click the OK button, the tray moves back to
the previous position. Click the OK button to complete the procedure.
The Add/Delete Objective command enables you to add or delete a
magnification from the list of magnifications at the top of the submenu.
The Calibrate Objective command invokes a wizard that enables you
to calibrate the onscreen distance to the actual table motion in the
instrument so that when you click on a feature on the screen, that feature
moves directly under the crosshairs in the video image. Follow the
directions in the wizard to calibrate the objective.
Show Scale on Video
This command will display a distance scale on the video screen.
The Calibrate Objective command works only when the objective
magnification in the Objective submenu matches the actual
magnification of the installed objective.
