Microscope to Indenter Calibration
This command calibrates the distance between the objective and the
indenter tip, enabling you to precisely place indents. This calibration
should be done whenever you change the objective or tip.
This calibration should be performed using the single-crystal aluminum
sample provided with the machine. Before initiating this command, the
microscope must be focused on a clean spot of a soft-metal sample so
that the impression from the indenter will be easy to find.
CAUTION
Before selecting this command, the locking pins must be removed from
the indenter shaft.
