Selecting this command launches a wizard that guides you through the
calibration process. The larger the objective, the smaller the impression
made by the indenter. The Advanced Settings button enables you to
specify the pattern, but most users prefer the default settings.
At the location that you select, the indenter will make five impressions.
You will be prompted to select the center impression from the
five-impression pattern, as shown in
Figure 4-60. NanoSuite then
calibrates the microscope to this indentation. The calibration process
takes less than 5 minutes.
