8 Install the indenter by aligning the tab with the slot in the shaft by
feel.
9 Align the threads and tighten the indenter-retaining nut to the shaft.
Ensure proper alignment of the threads and gently rotate the tool in a
clockwise direction (as viewed from the bottom) to install the indenter.
Ensure a snug fit, but do not over-tighten.
10 Click OK twice in the Change Indenter Tip dialog box.
11 Remove the two locking pins. Test the pins to determine which one
offers the most resistance and remove that pin first.
12 Install the locking pins into their docking holes in the tip-change
tool.
13 If the tip is not calibrated, follow "Cleaning the Tip" on page 6-68.
If the tip has been calibrated, then:
14 Select Select Tip from the Tip menu, as shown in Figure 6-43.

15 Select the name of the calibrated tip from the Tip Selection
drop-down menu in the Select Tip dialog box shown in
Figure 6-44
on page 6-30.
