reset packet-interface
Issue 1 May 2002

reset packet-interface
reset packet-interface Uc
This command resets and initializes the Packet Interface (PKTINT) module on the
IPSI (TN2312) circuit pack.
A standby PKTINT can always be reset. If the PKTINT is active, it can only be
reset if it has been taken out of service by the software. (There is no busy-out
command for the PKTINT.) When the PKTINT goes out of service due to errors,
the IPSI will have a bad PKTINT state of health that will cause the IPSI to go out of
service.
Taking an IPSI out of service also takes the PKTINT out of service. Attempts to
reset the PKTINT on a busied-out IPSI are ignored since the “release
ipserver-interface command will reset the PKTINT.
