Chapter 4 Frame and Carriage Assembly
Loading Optional Top Wheel Whisper Wheel®
Removing the Hub
1) Fix the Top Wheel in the “down” position by tying one of the side arms to the leg of the
frame on the same side as shown below.
2) Remove the two cotter pins that hold the motor in place as shown below.
3) Disconnect the motor wires and remove the motor/gearbox assembly away from the shaft
as shown below.
Note: Take care not to misplace the motor key and the two flat washers.
