MixStir® Tank Assembly and Installation
2. Determine the location of the MixStir® in the building.
Note: The tank should be on a wall, in a position that allows placement of chemical drums under the
holding tank.
Note: To maximize the efficiency of your MixStir® a mounting location should be selected that will
minimize the length of utility lines.
3. Secure the MixStir® Tank to the wall in the appropriate location.
Note: Make sure it is at least 6 feet from the floor and as close as possible to the Pumping Station.
Note: Also be sure to leave room for inspection and repairs on all sides of the Pumping Station.
4. Hang the MixStir® Tank on the Mounting Plate as shown below.
5. On the rear of the tank assembly there is an overflow fitting that requires a 1/2” hose to be run down to
a drain or splash-safe location.
