Chapter 10 Booster Pump Assembly Option
Booster Pump
Overview
The Booster Pump Kit was designed for the FreeStyler® product line. It is a highly efficient
pump that can add 65 psi of water pressure to the Freestyler® system. The pump itself consists
of a control panel, pressure tank, and an internal flow and pressure switch. Here are some of
the features that the Booster Pump Kit has to offer:
• Easy to install.
• Runs off 110VAC.
• Has the ability to add 65 more psi of water pressure.
• The pump is self-controlled.
• Is supplied with inlet and outlet gauges to always monitor water pressure.
• Is supplied with 3 brass ball valves. These ball valves will allow you to switch over from the standard water
feed to the booster pump at any time and vice versa for service.
• Will supply a faster and more efficient rinse cycle which in turn will create a faster overall wash package.
• Low noise level.
• The pump is self-priming.
• The pump has a user-friendly control panel.
• The pressure tank in the pump reduces the number of starts and stops in case of leakage in the
installation.
• The pump has a built-in over temperature and dry-running protection.
• Consists of 1” NPT inlet and outlet ports.
• Equipped with both an internal flow switch and pressure switch. Each of these can turn the pump on
depending on water consumption. The pump will start when the flow rate is greater than 0.3 GPM or when
the pressure is below 29 PSI.
Utilities:
• 1 x 110-120VAC
• Use typical 15 Amp Circuit
