Chapter 3 Getting Started
Installation Overview
Length Considerations Involving Treadle Movement
• As stated on the previous page(s), with the entrance rails stops adjusted at 30” towards the exit a 19’-3” vehicle can be
washed in a 32-0” bay using the “Small Bay” software. Longer vehicles can be washed, however the back will not be rinsed
by the Rinse Arch.
• The Treadle can be moved 5” towards the exit with satisfactory wash results for both the front and rear of the vehicle.
• The Treadle can be moved up to 24” total which would bring the vehicle 2 feet further forward. This Treadle placement
accommodates washing a 19’-3” vehicle in a 30’-0” building.
• If the Treadle is moved up 24”, the Triple Foam would not spray on the first few feet of the hood.
Note: Under this scenario, a booster pump is needed with extra nozzles aimed at the front of the
vehicle to get a proper rinse.
Note: The 24” treadle forward technique is not recommended even though it has been done
previously in the field.
Note: Contact your Belanger Sales Representative before attempting the 24” Treadle forward
technique.
