Chapter 3 Getting Started
Installation Overview
Length Considerations Involving Treadle Movement
As stated on the previous page(s), with the entrance rails stops adjusted at 30” towards the exit a 19’-3” vehicle can be
washed in a 32-0” bay using the Small Bay” software. Longer vehicles can be washed, however the back will not be rinsed
by the Rinse Arch.
The Treadle can be moved 5” towards the exit with satisfactory wash results for both the front and rear of the vehicle.
The Treadle can be moved up to 24” total which would bring the vehicle 2 feet further forward. This Treadle placement
accommodates washing a 19’-3” vehicle in a 30’-0” building.
If the Treadle is moved up 24”, the Triple Foam would not spray on the first few feet of the hood.
Note: Under this scenario, a booster pump is needed with extra nozzles aimed at the front of the
vehicle to get a proper rinse.
Note: The 24” treadle forward technique is not recommended even though it has been done
previously in the field.
Note: Contact your Belanger Sales Representative before attempting the 24” Treadle forward
technique.
