Aligning the fi xing element with an encoder (3)
17. Loosen the screws of the
fi xing element.
18. Loosen the lock nuts of
the setting screws on
both sides.
19. Move the fi xing element
with both setting screws
to a minimum.
20. Click Accept to restart
the setting procedure.
21. Repeat steps 10 to 20
until ± 2 µm are shown
(ideal value 0).
22. Tighten the screws of
the fi xing element.
23. Tighten the lock nuts of
the setting screws.
 Repeat the assembly of
the position indicator
left and right for
checking and realign
the fi xing element if
necessary (steps 8 -22).
