• [388] A NAK command was received from the DSP.
The CPU sent a command to the DSP which the DSP cannot
execute.
Possible Causes: An installed option is not being recognized.
Actions:
• Check the INSTALLED OPTIONS screen (see Section C.6.1) to
verify that all optional features are being recognized. A check
mark should appear beside each installed option.
• If an installed option is not checked, turn off the AS power and
then turn on the power again and recheck the
INSTALLED
OPTIONS
screen. If the problem persists, contact Dionex.
• [389] Timed out waiting for motion complete command from DSP.
The DSP could not complete a motion in the time allowed.
Possible Causes:
• Mechanical problem with the autosampler needle arm
• A valve is not being actuated
Actions:
• Check for an obstruction in the autosampler compartment.
• Manually test the autosampler needle arm movement, using the
XYZ TEST screen (see Section C.9.3).
• Manually test the sample syringe, the sample prep syringe, and
the injection valve(s), using the
LIQUID CONTROL screen (see
Section C.9.5
).
• If the problem persists, contact Dionex.
