d. If a leak occurs, continue increasing the Z address in two-step increments,
checking for leaks after each increase, until no more leaks occur.
NOTE Increase the Z address only until no more leaks
occur. If the Z address is too large, the needle will
hit the bottom of the port during operation and can
damage the needle or port.
30. When all adjustments are complete, press Home.
31. Factory calibration settings are recorded on a label on the inside of the
autosampler compartment door. If you changed the X, Y, or Z inject port
coordinates during alignment, record the new values on the label.
32. If you are performing this procedure after replacing the needle seal assembly,
calibrate the inject port volume (see Section D.9
).
