4.6 Connecting the server to the power source
The PRIMERGY RX4770 M1 server can be equipped with up to four standard
power supply units that automatically adjust to any mains voltage in the range
of 100 VAC to 240 VAC (1200W PSU) resp. 200 VAC to 240 VAC (1600W
PSU).
I The actions described below have to be performed for each installed
power supply unit.
Connecting power cords to the mains
V CAUTION!
The power supply automatically adjusts to any mains voltage in the
range of 100 VAC to 240 VAC (1200W PSU) resp. 200 VAC to 240 VAC
(1600W PSU). You may only operate the server if its rated voltage range
corresponds to the local mains voltage.

Ê Connect the power connector to the power supply unit (1).
Ê Close the cable clamp around the power cord and lock the cable clamp to
secure the power cord (2).
