4.4.3 Opening the server
V CAUTION!
● Before removing or installing covers, turn off the server and all
peripheral devices. Also unplug all power cables from the outlet.
Failure to do so can cause electric shock.
● In order to comply with applicable EMC regulations (regulations on
electromagnetic compatibility) and satisfy cooling requirements, the
PRIMERGY RX4770 M1 server must not run while the housing cover
is removed.
● For further safety information, please refer to chapter "Important
information" on page 31.
4.4.3.1 Removing the housing cover

Ê Remove the little screw (see circle in figure above) and put it in a safe place.
Ê Press on both green touch points, shift the server in the direction of the arrow
as far as it will go and lift off the housing cover.
