When the limit function is on, you may encounter a display such as the following.
When a voltage or current in excess of the applica-
ble limit value is not applied to the sample so that
the measurement signal level setting is not
reached, changes to the measurement signal level
are canceled.
At this time, the voltage or current which exceeds
the limit value is not being applied to the sample
under test. You should change the test signal level
so that it does not exceed the limit value.
If the voltage or current which is applied to the
sample under test exceeds the limit value (the
current exceeding the limit value flows through
the sample even when the open-circuit voltage is
set to minimum value.)
Lower the measurement signal level so that the
limit value is not exceeded.
