• Lubricate shafts, selector drum and forks.

assembling and settling
• Assemble the following parts:
- Gearbox output shaft (1) with forks (2)
- Selector drum (3)
- Gearbox control shaft (4) with fork (5)
- 32-tooth 1st gear (6)
- Space washer (7)
- Gearbox output shaft guide (8)
- Gearbox input shaft guide (9)
• Clean sealing surfaces, and apply a new gasket (5).
• Fit guide sleeves (6).
• Fit crankcase left half (4).
• Fit screws (1, 2, 3), but do not tighten them.
• Fit screws (1).
Tightening torque gures
Engine and crankcase fairing, screw connections
M6 x 70 11 Nm
• Fit screw (2).
Tightening torque gures
Engine and crankcase fairing, screw connections
M6 x 75 11 Nm
• Fit screws (3) working crossways.
Tightening torque gures
Engine and crankcase fairing, screw connections
M6 x 50 11 Nm
