Nose Gear Steering
1. Nose Gear Steering Wheel
Provides nosewheel steering up to 70 degrees left and right of the neutral
position and overrides the rudder pedal steering. Full rudder pedal movement
results in up to 10 degrees steering either side of the neutral position when the
ground shift mechanism is in the ground mode.
NOTE: A second nose wheel steering wheel can be installed on the First
Officers console.
2. Rudder Pedals (2 pair)
Rudder pedals are used to control the nosewheel steering when the airplane is
on the ground. Maximum nosewheel deflection when using rudder pedals is
10 degrees.
Rudder pedals are used to control upper and lower rudder deflection during
flight.
