• Mechanically position landing gear control valve to bypass and shut off
hydraulic system 3 pressure to nose gear steering.
• Limit nose gear steering to 25 degrees to right (pressure from hydraulic
system 1) when using nose gear steering wheel.
Stowing lever if hydraulic system 3 is operative will:
• Retract gear if gear handle is in GEAR UP position.
• Return nose gear steering to normal (hydraulic system 3 restored).
A force of 160 pounds may be applied to the alternate gear extension lever
without causing damage to the system.
