InsertMeasure:Thiscommandinsertsthespecified
numberofmeasuresintothespecifiedtrack.Whenyou
executetheInsertMeasurecommand,themusicaldata
followingtheinsertlocationwill
bemovedbackward.

RepeatMeasure:Thiscommandrepeatedlyinsertsthe
specifiedmeasuresforthespecifiednumberoftimes.
WhenyouexecutetheRepeatMeasurecommand,the
measureswillbeinsertedfollowingthemeasure
specifiedby“ToEndofMeasure,”
andmusicaldata
followingtheinserteddatawillbemovedbackward.

CopyMeasure:Thiscommandcopiesthemeasuresof
musicaldataspecifiedasthe“From”sourcetothe
beginningofthemeasurespecifiedasthe“To”
location.Whenyou
executetheCopyMeasure
command,theexistingtrackdataatthecopy
destinationwillberewritten.Formoreinformation,

MoveMeasure:Thiscommandmovesthespecified
measuresofperformancedatatoanothermeasure.
WhenyouexecutetheMoveMeasurecommand,the
performance
datafollowingthemovesourcemeasures
willmoveforwardbythecorrespondingnumberof
measures,andtheperformancedatafollowingthe
movedestinationwillmovebackward(i.e.,laterinthe
song)bythesamenumberofmeasures.Formore

individualaudioeventsthathavebeenrecorded,or

AudioAutomationEdit:Thislets
youeditindividual
automationdataevents.Formoreinformation,see

audiotrack.InadditiontoImportingorPastinga
region,youcanusetheTrimdialogboxtospecifythe
range
inwhichaWAVEfilewillplayback.Formore

Vol umeRamp:Thiscommandmodifiesthedata
values(volume)ofthespecifiedarea.Youcan
graduallyincrease(FadeIn)ordecrease(FadeOut)the
volumebetweenthestartandendpoints.

CopySong’sTempotoRegion:Thiscommand
changesthetempousedbythespecifiedregionsof
audioeventssothattheaudioeventtempowillmatch
thetempoofthelocationinwhichthoseregionsplay

tempoofanaudiotrackmatchesthetempoofthe
MIDItracks,executingthiscommandtomatchthe
regiontempowillensurethatthe“A d j u s t Regionto
Song’sTempo(TimeStretch)”or“A d j u s t Song’sTempo
toRegion”commandscanbeexecutedcorrectly.For

onpage 611oftheParameterGuide.
AdjustSong’sTempotoRegion:Thiscommand
createstempoeventsinthemastertracktomatchthe
tempooftheregionsusedbytheaudioeventsinthe
specifiedrange.
Thisisusefulifyoucreateaudiotracksinapreviously
recordedregion,andwant
alltracks(includingMIDI
tracks)tomatchthatregion.Formoreinformation,see

ParameterGuide.
AdjustRegiontoSong’sTempo(TimeStretch):Ifthe
tempoofregionsusedbyaudioeventsinthespecified
rangediffersfromthetempooftherange
inwhich
thoseregionsplayback,youcanexecuteTimeStretch
(Sustaining)tocreatenewWAVEfilesandregions.
Audioeventsthatusethenewlycreatedregionswill
alsobecreatedautomatically.
Ifyouwanttomodifythetempoofanexistingsong,it
isconvenienttofirstspecifythedesired
tempointhe
mastertrack,andthenexecutethiscommandsothat
theaudiotrack(s)willbecreatedaccordingtothenew
