Bank/CombinationSelectmenu:

2. Pressthetabsontheleftsideofthedisplayto
selectabank.
3. PressoneoftheCombinationnamesinthelistto
selectaCombination.
TheselectedCombinationwillbehighlighted,andthe
keyboardwillimmediatelyswitchtothenewsound.
4. Ifyoulike,playafewnotestohearthenew
Combination.
YoucanplaythenewCombinationwhilethemenuis
stillshowing,withoutneedingtopressOK.
5. Whenyouaresatisfiedwiththeselected
Combination,pressthe
OKbuttontoclosethe
popupmenu.
IfyoupresstheCancelbutton,theselectionyoumade
herewillbediscarded,andyouwillreturntothe
Combinationthathadbeenselectedbeforeyouopened
themenu.
Selecting by Category
YoucanselectCombinationsfromwithinacategory,
suchaskeyboard,organ,bass,anddrums.When
shippedfromthefactory,thepreloadedCombinations
areorganizedinto16categories,eachwithseveralsub‐
categories.Therearealso2morecategories,initially
namedUser16andUser17,whichyoucanuseand
renameasdesired.
1. PresstheCategorypopupbutton.
TheCategory/CombinationSelectdialogappears.
Category/CombinationSelectmenu
Intheillustrationabove,theSynthisselected.Thelist
ontherightshowstheCombinationswhichbelongto
thatcategory.
2. Pressthetabslocatedtotheleftsideofthedisplay
toselectadifferentcategory.
Thenameoftheselectedcategorywillbedisplayedin
fullinthelowerleft.
3. PressoneoftheCombinationnamesinthecenter
areatoselectaCombination.
TheselectedCombinationwillbehighlighted.
4. Whenyouaresatisfiedwiththeselected
Combination,presstheOKbuttontoclosethe
popupmenu.
If
youpresstheCancelbutton,yourselectionwillbe
discarded,andyouwillreturntotheCombinationthat
hadbeenselectedwhenyouopenedthepopupmenu.
Selecting Combinations using a footswitch
Youcanassignafootswitchtostepthrough
Combinationsonebyone,eithergoingup(0,1,2,3,
etc.)orgoingdown(3,2,1etc.).Thisletsyouchange
Combinationswithoutusingyourhands–greatfor
quickProgramchangesinliveperformancesituations.

Selecting Combinations from MIDI
YoucansendMIDIProgramChangemessagesto
OASYSfromexternalMIDIdevices,suchascomputer
sequencersorotherMIDIcontrollers.Inconjunction
withMIDIBankSelect,youcanusethesetoselectany
Combinationfromall14Banks.

Using controllers to modify the sound
Youcanusethejoystick,ribboncontroller,SW1,SW2,
VectorJoystick,VALUEslider,keyboard,footpedals
andswitches,andtheControlPanelknobs,sliders,and
switchestocontrolthesound.
