TheMOD‐7isapowerful,semi‐modularsynthesizer,
combiningVariablePhaseModulation(VPM),
waveshaping,ringmodulation,PCMsampleplayback,
andsubtractivesynthesis.Exceptionallyversatile,the
MOD‐7produceseverythingfromclassicFM
keyboardsandbellstorhythmicsoundscapes,from
cut‐through‐the‐mixsynthbassestosparkling,epic
pads.

FrequencyModulation(FM)synthesis;formore
