Pleasereadthisfirst.Itexplainsthenamesandfunctions
ofeachpartoftheOASYS,howtomakeconnections,
basicoperation,anoverviewofeachmode,howtoedit
sounds,howtorecordonthesequencer,andhowto
sample.ThisguidealsoexplainstheKARMAfunction,
effects,wavesequences,
anddrumkits.
TheOperationGuidealsocontainstroubleshooting
information,andsupplementalinformationsuchas
specifications.
Parameter Guide
TheParameterGuidecontainsexplanationsandother
informationregardingtheoperationsoftheparameters
andsettingsontheOASYS.
Theexplanationsareorganizedbymodeandpage.
SeparateEffectsandKARMAsectionsinclude
explanationsoftheindividualparametersofeacheffect
andeachKARMAGE.
Refertothisguidewhenanunfamiliar
parameter
appearsinthedisplay,orwhenyouneedtoknowmore

On-board Help system*
TheHELPbuttongivesyoubuilt‐in,context‐sensitive
accesstotheusermanuals,rightfromthefrontpanel.
Forinformationonanyfront‐panelbutton,knob,slider,
orreal‐timecontroller,justholddownHELPandthen
pressthebuttonormovethecontrollerinquestion.
Forinformationonthe
currentLCDpage,pressand
releasetheHELPbutton.
Whilethehelppageisonthescreen,youcantouchany
oftheon‐screenlinks(hilightedinbluetext)formore
information.Youcanscrollthroughthetextbyusingthe
on‐screenscrollbars,pressingtheIncandDec
buttons,
orspinningtheValuedial.
ThetopoftheHelppagehas“breadcrumb”links,which
showthehierarchyofpagesabovethecurrentone.
Touchanyoftheselinkstojumptothecorresponding
page.
Thebackwardsandforwardsbuttonsfunctionlikethe
similarbuttonsonastandardwebbrowser.If
youuse
