damagetheharddiskorinteriorcomponents.
Whenthis
deviceismovedtoalocationwherethe
temperatureisradicallydifferent,waterdropletsmay
condenseontheharddisk.Ifthedeviceisusedinthis
condition,itmaymalfunction,sopleaseallowseveral
hourstopassbeforeoperatingthedevice.
Donotturnthepoweronandoffrepeatedly.

Thisdevicebeginstoaccesstheharddisk
immediatelyafterthepoweristurnedon.
Neverturnoffthepowerwhiletheharddiskisbeing
accessed.Doingsocancauseallorpartofthedataon
theharddisktobelost,ormaycause
malfunctions
suchasharddiskdamage.
Iftheharddiskhasbeendamagedduetoincorrect
operation,powerfailure,oraccidentalinterruption
ofthepowersupply,afeemaybechargedfor
replacementevenifthisdeviceisstillwithinits
warrantyperiod.
Handling of the cooling vents
Theopeningsontheleftandrightsidesoftheunit
arecoolingvents.Ifthecoolingisinadequate,
operationmaybecomeunstableandthepowersupply
mayshutdown.Besuretoplacetheunitsothatthe
sidesareatleast10cmfromawallorsimilarobject.
Donotplaceanyobjectnearthecoolingventsthat
mightblockthem.

drive

unitinahorizontalposition.
•Donotusetheunitinextremelycoldorhotlocations.

canforciblyejectthetraybyinsertingathinobject

Responsibility for loss of data
KorgCorporationwillacceptnoresponsibilityforany
damages(directorindirect,whethersustainedbythe
customerorbyathirdparty)resultingfromlossofor
damagetodatawrittenonaCD‐RorCD‐RWdisc.
Regarding the LCD screen
TheLCDscreenoftheOASYSisaprecisiondevice
createdusingextremelyhightechnology,andcareful
attentionhasbeenpaidtoitsproductquality.Although
youmaynoticesomeoftheissueslistedbelow,pleasebe
awarethattheseareduetothecharacteristicsofLCD
screens,andarenot
malfunctions.
•Theremaybepixelsinthescreenthatarealwaysdark
(unlit)oralwaysbright(lit).
• Dependingonthedisplayedcontent,thebrightness
ofthescreenmayappearuneven.
