MIDIeventsor300,000audioevents.Itconsistsofa16‐
trackMIDIsequencerand16‐trackharddiskrecorder,
givingyouatotalof32tracks.Inadditiontorealtime
recordingandstep
input,theMIDIsequencerisalso
abletorecordphrasesgeneratedbytheKARMA
function,theinternalrhythmpatterns,andRPPR
(RealtimePatternPlay/Recording)function,lettingyou
createsequencetracksquicklyandeasily.Afteryou’ve
recordedyourperformance,youcaneasilyperform
detailedeventediting.There’salsoaTemplateSong
functionthat’sconvenientwhenyou’rereadytostart
creatingMIDItracks.Simplyselectatemplatethat
containstheinstrumentsandeffectsappropriatefor

thatletsyousampleanexternalaudiosourcethat’s
playingalongwithyoursong
(sequencedata)and
automaticallyplacetheappropriatenotedatainatrack

integratedenvironment,you’llbeabletoproduce
high‐qualitysongsinanamazinglyshorttime.Youcan
usethecontrolsurfaceforintuitiveandsmooth
control.

recorder,italsoprovidesautomationfunctionalityas
wellaseditingcapabilitiesthatarejustassophisticated
anddetailedasprovidedfortheMIDItracksequencer,
offeringcommandssuchasCopy,Paste,Fade,
Normalize,TimeStretch/Compress,and
AudioEvent
Editing.TheOASYSprovideseverythingyouneedfor
anysituation–fromsongwritingtofull‐fledged
recording.
Theeffectsectionletsyouuseuptosixteeneffects
simultaneously,providingtwelveInsertEffectsthat
canbeappliedindependentlytoeachtrack,two
MasterEffectsthatcanbeappliedtosends
