NOTE: Although the inside diameter of each camshaft
bushing is the same, the outside diameters and widths
are different depending on bearing location. The
bearing diameters have changed from previous
designs and this determines how bushing are
removed and installed.

Remove the front and rear bushings (1) rst. The rear
bearing and camshaft seal ring must be removed from
the rear of the crankcase. It is recommended that the
intermediate bushings be removed according to the
following illustration.
