The low-pressure fuel system draws fuel from the
fuel tank with a low-pressure fuel pump. Fuel fi rst
enters the fuel filter header, is heated by the optional
fuel heater (if necessary) and passes through the fuel
strainer. Fuel then passes through the low-pressure
fuel pump, tubing, and through the fuel filter. Fuel
finally passes through the intake manifold and cylinder
head and is delivered to each fuel injector.
