Removal
Low-pressure Fuel Supply Pump and Tubing

1. Open water drain valve and drain fu
el into a
suitable container.

2. Remove the transfer pump inlet tube assembly.

3. Remove the transfer pump outlet tube assembly.
Cap all pump openings to the fuel lter and
low-pressure fuel supply pump.

and the low-pressu
re fuel supply pump from
high-pressure oi
l pump. Discard seal.
5. Check the low-pre
ssure fuel supply pump tappet
for cracks, burr
s and straightness. Replace
low-pressure fu
el supply pump if necessary.
