5. Bolt, M8 x 25 (in flange)
6. O-ring seal
1. Drain coolant.
2. Loosen two constant tension EGR hose clamps
and remove EGR coolant hose from EGR coolant
return tube adapter and EGR cooler.
3. Remove M8 x 25 EGR coolant return tube adapter
bolt and pull EGR coolant return tube adapter
straight out of the cylinder head. Discard O-ring.

1. Install a new O-ring onto new EGR cooler return
tube adapter.
CAUTION: To prevent engine damage, do not use
engine oil or any other petroleum based products
on EGR cooler return tube adapter O-ring. This
O-ring is not compatible with petroleum based
lubricants.
2. Using P-80 or equivalent, lubricate O-ring on
adapter.
