Add Options

theBlueScaleSoftwareSupportKeyonpage434ifyouneedtorenewor
extendyourservicecontract,whichincludestheBlueScaleSoftware
Supportkey.
Determine the Library Serial Number
Thelibraryserialnumber(HardwareID)isrequiredforrenewingor
extendingyourservicecontract,whichincludestheBlueScaleSoftware
Supportkey,andforpurchasingadditionalCapacityonDemand(CoD)or
otherupgradeoptions.
Usethefollowingstepstodetermineyourlibrary’sserialnumber.
1. AccesstheSystemSetupscreen(seeAccessingtheSystemSetupScreen
onpage104).
2. Makeanoteofthelibrary’sserialnumber(HardwareID),whichis
neededtogeneratetheactivationkeys.
The BlueScale Software Support key and all option activation keys are tied to the
library serial number. If you have multiple libraries, you need separate activation
keys for each library.
