CONFLICT MINERALS POLICY
SpectraLogiciscommittedtocomplyingwiththeOECDDueDiligence
GuidanceforResponsibleSupplyChainsofMineralsfromConflict‐
AffectedandHigh‐RiskAreas,aswellastheapplicablerequirementsof
Section1502oftheDodd‐FrankAct,whichaimstopreventtheuseof
mineralsthatdirectlyorindirectlyfinanceorbenefitarmedgroupsinthe
DemocraticRepublicoftheCongo(DRC)orinadjoiningcountries
(“conflictminerals”).
AffectedsupplierstoSpectraLogicwillberequiredtocommittobeingor
becoming“conflict‐free”(whichmeansthatsuchsupplierdoesnotsource
conflictminerals)andsourcing,wherepossible,onlyfromconflict‐free
smelters.EachaffectedsuppliertoSpectraLogicwillberequiredto
providecompletedEICC‐GeSIdeclarationsevidencingsuchsupplierʹs
commitmenttobecomingconflict‐freeanddocumentingcountriesof
originforthetin,tantalum,tungsten,andgoldthatitpurchases.
