10. RepeatStep7throughStep9fortheotherpowercord.
11. Plugthefreeendofeachpowercordintoanappropriatepowersource.
12. RepeattheentireprocessforthepowercordsattachedtothedualAC
moduleineachdriveexpansionframe.
13. Aftercordlocksareinstalledonallofthepowercords,settheAC
breakerswitchestothe“on”positionandpoweronthelibrary.
CALIBRATING THE TOUCH SCREEN
Ifthetouchpointsonthelibrary’stouchscreendonotproperlyalignwith
theuserinterfacegraphics,performthefollowingproceduretorecalibrate
thepositionofthetouchpoints.
Note: Youmustperformthisprocedurewhilestandinginfrontofthe
touchscreen.Theutilityisnotavailablewhenaccessingthe
librarythroughtheBlueScalewebinterface(RLC).
1. Logintothelibraryasauserwithsuperuseroradministrator
privileges.
2. Fromthetoolbarmenu,selectMaintenance > Toolstodisplaythe
MaintenanceToolsscreen(Figure275onpage438).
3. SelectUtilities.TheUtilitiesscreendisplays.
4. SelectCalibrate Touch Screen.
5. ClickRun Utility.Thetouchscreendisplaysaseriesofcalibrationtarget
points.
6. Toucheachpointasitdisplayswitheitherthestylusoryourfingerto
recalibratethetouchpointsonthescreen.
Note: Toucheachpointatastraight‐onangleasclosetothecenterof
thetargetaspossible.
7. Whenthecalibrationroutineiscomplete,theUtilitiesscreen
redisplays.
