Restore the MLM and DLM Databases
UsethefollowingstepstorestoretheMLMdatabasefromapreviously
savedbackupthatwascreatedusingtheSaveMLMDatabaseutility(see
BackUptheMLMandDLMDatabasesonpage316).

1. Useyourstoragemanagementsoftwaretostopallbackuporrestore
operationsonthelibrary.
2. IfyouplantorestoreusinganMLMdatabasebackupfilethatwassent
asanemailattachment,usethefollowinginstructionstocopythefileto
aUSBdevice;otherwise,skiptoStep5.
a. CreateafoldercalledSavedMLMDBattherootofaUSBdevice.
b. Copythexlminfo<date-time>.dborcminfo_<date-time>.zdt
filetotheSavedMLMDBfolderontheUSBdevice.
3. Logintothelibraryasauserwithsuperuseroradministrator
privileges.
4. StopanyPreScanorPostScanoperationsthatarecurrentlyrunning(see
StoptheDiscoveryProcessonpage298andPausethePostScanProcess
onpage307).
If you do not remove the USB device, the library power-on sequence fails.
If the library fails to boot, power off the library as described in Power Off the Library
on page 160. Once the library is powered off, remove the USB device and power on
the library as described in Power On the Library on page 158.
The Restore MLM Database from USB utility overwrites the existing MLM and DLM
databases with the versions previously saved on the USB device.
Restoring the MLM and DLM databases requires the library to be idle.
