YourTechnicalSupportrepresentativemayaskyoutoreturnaproblem
componenttoSpectraLogicforanalysisandservicing. Afteryoucomplete
areplacementprocedure,returnthedefectivepartusingALLofthe
packagingthatthereplacementpartarrivedin(includinganyanti‐static
bagsorfoaminserts).
Usethereturnlabelandinstructionsthatwereincludedwiththe
replacementpartwhenpreparingtoshipthecomponentyouare
returning.Ifyoucannotlocatethese,contactSpectraLogicforanother
copy(seeContactingSpectraLogiconpage7).ThereturnlabelandReturn
MerchandiseAuthorization(RMA)printedonitareusedtoassociatethe
returnedcomponentwithyouraccount.Toavoidbeinginvoicedforfailure
toreturnthecomponent,donotshipthecomponentbacktoSpectraLogic
withouttheRMAreturnlabel.
Severe damage can occur if the component is not packaged correctly. You may be
invoiced if it is damaged due to improper or insufficient packaging.
