Set the Date and Time
1. AccesstheSystemSetupscreen(seeAccessingtheSystemSetupScreen
onpage104).
2. ClickEditnexttoDate And Time intheOtherSettingspane.TheDate
andTimescreendisplaysshowingthemethodcurrentlyselectedfor
settingthedateandtime.
3. Selectthemethodyouwanttouseforsettingthedateandtime.
Note: Changingthemethodofsettingthelibrarytimeanddatefrom
Automatic Time and Date Settings (NTP)toManual Time and Date
Settings ortheotherwayaroundrequiresanLCMrebootto
enablethenewsetting.

Ifnotalreadydisplayed,theDateandTimescreenrefreshestoshowoptions
forconfiguringaNetworkTimeProtocol(NTP)server.
1. EntertheNTP HostnamefortheNTPserveryouwanttouse.Donotinclude
!@#$^&*()>and<intheNTPhostname(forinformationaboutNTP,see
http://support.ntp.org/bin/view/Main/WebHome).
2. SelecttheTime Zoneyouwanttouse(typicallytheonecorrespondingtothe
locationofthelibrary).
3. ClickSave.AssoonasyouclickSave,thelibraryrebootstostartusingthe
newsettings.
Notes:
BecausetheNTPserverisaddressedusingahostnameinsteadofanIP
address,youmustconfigureatleastoneDNSserverbeforeyoucanuseNTP
(see
ConfigureNetworkSettingsonpage116).
AfteryouconfigureNTP,itcantakeuptoanhourforthetimetosynchronize
withtheNTPserver.
