Use the BlueScale Retrieve Drive Dump Utility
IfforsomereasonyoucannotinstallanduseITDTinyourenvironment,
usetheBlueScaleRetrieveDriveDumputilitytocollectthedumpfilefrom
adrive.
Note: TheRetrieveDriveDumpUtilityisnotsupportedforTS11x0
technologydrives.
Before You Begin
Beforeyoubegintheutility,makesureyoufulfillthefollowing
prerequisites.
Insert USB Device ThisutilitysavesthedrivedumpfiletoaUSBdevice
connectedtotheLCMortheoperatorpanel(T950Bonly).Youmustplug
theUSBdeviceintooneoftheUSBportsontheLCMortheoperatorpanel
(T950Bonly)andallowtimeforthedevicetomountbefore
youaccessthe
Utilitiesscreen(see
UsingaUSBDeviceonpage178).
User Privilege Requirements Onlyauserwithsuperuseroradministrator
privilegescanusetheBlueScalesoftwaretoretrieveadrivedumpfile.
Run the Utility
1. DeterminetheBlueScaleidentifierforthedrivefromwhichyouwantto
retrievethedumpfile.
Note: Drivesareidentifiedaccordingtotheirphysicallocationinthe
library.Forexample:FR1/DBA2/DRV4referstotheupperright
