server,createafirewallruleonthe
servertoallowthelibrarytoaccesstheserver.
Usetheportsettingthatwasassignedtothe
serverduringtheBlueScale(library)portionof
theSpectraSKLMserverconfiguration.
Thedefaultportsettingis38 01.See“Configurethe
SpectraSKLMServer”in
theSpectraTapeLibraries
EncryptionUserGuidetodetermineyourport
setting.
System message
states that “Load
attempted while
encryption is
enabled, but no
moniker or key list
was sent to the
DCM”
Ifacartridgeisleftina
driveafterthelibraryloses
poweroryouresetor
power‐cyclethelibrary,the
driveisnotabletoreceive
encryptionmonikers.
Thiscanalsooccurifatape
isleftinadrivewhilethe
driveisresetorreseated.
Usethefollowing
stepstore‐enablethe
encryptionprocess:
1. Movethecartridgeoutofthedriveandreturnit
toitsst oragelocation(see

2. Resetthedrive(seeResettingaDriveon
