DependingonwhichBlueScaleEncryption
editionyouareusing,use
thefollowingstepsto
enablethecartridgetoberead:
BlueScaleStandardEdition
1. Logintothelibraryasasuperuser.
2. Logintotheencryptionfeature.
3. Exportandthendeletetheencryptionkey
currentlylistedontheEncryption
Configurationscreen(see“Deletingan
EncryptionKeyfromtheLibrary”inthe
SpectraTapeLibrariesEncryptionUserGuide).
4. Importtherequiredencryptionkey(see
“ImporttheRequiredKeyintotheLibrary”in
the
SpectraTapeLibrariesEncryptionUser
Guide).
5. SelectConfiguration > Partitions.
6. ClickEditnexttothepartitioncontainingthe
cartridge.
7. NavigatethroughtheBlueScalepartition
wizardtotheEncryptionscreen.
8. Selecttheencryptionkeytobeassociatedwith
thepartition.
9. ClickNexttoproceedtotheSummaryscreen
ofthePartitionWizard,andclickSave.

1. Logintothelibraryasasuperuser.
2. Logintotheencryptionfeature.
3. Makesuretheencryptionkeyislistedonthe
EncryptionConfigurationscreen.Ifitisnot
listed,addthekeytothelibrary(see“Import
theRequiredKeyintotheLibrary”inthe
SpectraTapeLibrariesEncryptionUserGuide).
4. SelectConfiguration > Partitions.
5. ClickEditnexttothepartitioncontainingthe
cartridge.
6. NavigatethroughtheBlueScalepartition
wizardtotheEncryptionscreen.
7. Selecttherequiredencryptionkeyaseitherthe
primaryencryptionkeyorasadecryptionkey.
Note: Amaximumofeightdecryptionkeyscan
beassignedtoonepartition.
8. ClickNexttoproceedtotheSummaryscreen
ofthePartitionWizard,andclickSave.
