Note: Onlydatacartridgeslocatedinthepartition’sentry/exitpoolare
listedandavailableforselection.
7. ClickNexttobegintheautomatictestprocess.Aseriesofstatusscreens
letsyouknowhowthetestisprogressing.Thetestprocessrequires
approximately15minutestocomplete.
8. Whenthetestiscomplete,reviewtheDLMTestResultsscreento
determinetheoutcomeofthetestandrespondasrequired.
Ifthedrivepassesthetest,thedrivehealthissettoGood(green).
Youcancontinueusingthedrive.
Ifthedrivefailsthetest,thedrivehealthissettoPoor(red).Contact

9. ClickContinuetoreturntotheDrivesscreen.
If the entry/exit pool contains multiple data cartridges, make sure that you select a
cartridge that does not contain data that you want to retain. The test process
overwrites all data on the tape.
