Safety Signs
SAFETY SIGNS
Safety signs located on the machine contain important and useful information that will help you
operate the machine safely and correctly. Refer to
"Safety Signs", page 1-5.
Runover possible. Contact with moving parts can cut or crush.
Make sure no one is working on, underneath, or close to machine before
starting engine or moving machine. Ensure area is free of personnel. Keep
spectators away.
Falling load can crush.
Never work under lifted load unless load is securely supported to prevent
falling.
Engine exhaust can asphyxiate. If inhaled directly or continuously, the
combustion fumes produced by the engine can cause death or serious
injury.
If work has to be done in an enclosed environment, take all necessary
precautions to ensure the circulation of fresh air and protect the
respiratory system using a suitable mask.
Contact with moving parts can cause death or serious injury.
Keep hands, feet, and clothing away from power-driven parts. Keep all
shields and guards in place and properly secured.
Be sure all safety devices, including shields, are installed and functioning
properly after servicing the machine.
