Maintenance Procedures
Neutral Start Interlocks
Perform the test procedure on each of the following
switches to ensure neutral start interlocks function
correctly:
(1) Elevator Switch
(2) Hopper & Conveyor Drive Switch - Test switch
in both “on” positions.
Test Procedure
1. Turn ignition switch on, without starting engine.
2. Verify Park Brake is on.
3. Turn switch on.
4. Attempt to start engine. Display will instruct operator to turn switch off.
5. Engine must not crank with switch on.
6. Turn switch off.
7. Start the engine.
8. Turn engine off.
9. Contact a Weiler dealer if interlock does not function correctly.
Park Brake Test
1. Turn Park Brake switch off.
2. Attempt to start engine. Engine must not crank.
3. Turn switch on.
4. Start the engine.
5. Turn engine off.
6. Contact a Weiler dealer if interlock does not function correctly.
