Storage Hopper Cleanout
The storage hopper is equipped with cleanout doors for access to the storage augers and the storage
conveyor slats and chain for inspection, cleaning and material removal.
Storage hopper augers and conveyor will not run in reverse with the storage hopper cleanout doors
closed. Fully open both hopper doors to run in reverse.
NOTICE: Do not run hopper augers and conveyor in reverse with material in the storage hopper
unless both hopper cleanout doors are fully open. Auger and/or hopper damage will occur if cleanout
door switches are bypassed, and material is forced against hopper walls by the augers with the doors
closed.
1. Open both storage hopper cleanout doors.
2. Use Manual Conveyor Switch (1) to reverse augers
and storage hopper conveyor. If material is in the
hopper, alternate switch (1) between reverse and
forward to attempt to free stalled augers and
storage conveyor.
To open storage hopper cleanout doors:
3. Release door latch (2) on each door.
4. Use Hopper Cleanout Door Levers (3) on right and
left sides of machine to open doors.
