Preparing Machine
Dump Hopper To Windrow Conversion
This procedure is for windrow equipped machines only.
Dump Hopper Components Removal
1. Raise dump hopper attachment.
2. Engage both elevator lift cylinder stops (1), or
securely support elevator with suitable blocking.
3. Open dump hopper cleanout door (2).
4. Place a support under edge of cleanout door to
remove load from cylinders (3) and to prevent door
from dropping. Remove cylinder rod pins (4).
5. Retract cleanout door cylinder rods to minimize
cylinder length and to protect cylinder rod surface.
6. Remove and cap hoses (5) from cleanout door
cylinders.
NOTICE: Secure hoses to prevent damage.
WARNING
Falling load can crush.
Never work under lifted load unless load is securely supported to prevent
falling.
WARNING
Pressurized fluid can penetrate body tissue and result in death or serious
injury. Leaks can be invisible. Keep away from any suspected leak. Relieve
pressure in the hydraulic system before searching for leaks, disconnecting
hoses, or performing any other work on the system. When searching for a
pressurized leak, use an object such as a piece of wood or cardboard. Keep
hands away. When loosening a fitting where residual pressure may exist,
slowly loosen fitting until fluid begins to leak. Wait for leaking to stop before
disconnecting fitting. Tighten all connections before repressurizing system.
Seek immediate surgical treatment if fluid is injected under the skin.
