Maintenance Procedures
Wheel Planetary Oil Level - Check
1. Position final drive with drain plug (1) at bottom
and check plug (2) at 3 or 9 o’clock position.
2. Remove check plug (2).
3. Check oil level of each wheel. Oil level should be at
bottom of check plug opening.
4. Add oil through check plug port. Clean and install
plug.
Wheel Planetary Oil - Drain/Refill
1. Position final drive with drain plug (1) at bottom
and check plug (2) at 3 or 9 o’clock position.
2. To drain oil, remove drain plug (1), and allow oil to drain into a suitable container.
3. Clean and install drain plug (1).
4. Fill final drive planetary through check plug (2) to bottom of plug opening. Allow machine to sit
for 45 minutes.
NOTICE: Machine must sit for 45 minutes to fill the rear bearings of the final drive planetary.
Failure to wait 45 minutes may result in bearing failure from low oil level.
5. Fill planetary with oil up to check plug (2).
6. Clean and install plug (2).
7. Drain and refill other three wheel planetaries.
