Maintenance Procedures
Fuel Primary Filter/Water Separator - Drain
NOTICE: Monitor the water separator (1) daily for signs of water. If present, drain water from the
bowl. Never allow engine to run with water separator more than half full of water. Engine damage
may result.
1. Open drain valve (2) and allow fluid to drain into a
suitable container.
2. Close drain valve (2). Dispose of drained fluid in
accordance with local regulations and mandates.
NOTICE: The water separator is under suction during
normal engine operation. Ensure that drain valve is
tightened securely to prevent air from entering fuel
system.
3. If necessary, fill primary filter (1) using electric
priming switch (3).
Fuel Tank - Fill
Fill fuel tank at fill cap (1) at end of each day to reduce
condensation. Do not overfill; leave room for expansion.
Refer to Engine Operation and Maintenance Manual for
fuel requirements.
Fill cap is located beneath operator platform. Fuel Level
is shown on electronic display panel.
Petroleum-based fluids leaked or spilled onto hot surfaces or electrical
components can explode or burn.
Turn ignition switch off when servicing machine. Clean up fluid spills
immediately. No flame. No smoking.
Fuel and fumes can explode and burn.
Turn engine off before refueling. No flame. No smoking.
