Maintenance Procedures
Cooling System - Check / Clean
1. Follow "Machine Shutdown Procedure", page 3-11.
2. Inspect hose clamps for tightness.
NOTICE: Do not clean the cores when machine is running.
3. Check for dirt and debris in radiator fins and hydraulic cooler core.
4. Clean fins and core. Partially blocked fins will
increase engine coolant and/or hydraulic fluid
operating temperature.
Compressed air is preferred, but high pressure water
or steam can be used to remove dust and general
debris from a core. Always keep nozzle at least 12"
(30 cm) away from fins and point nozzle
perpendicular to fins to help prevent bending fins.
5. Check fan for damaged blades. Check for loose
fasteners.
Distance From Paver Control Interlock - Transport Speed Test
1. Place Propel 3-Speed Control switch in Transport
position.
2. Push Distance From Paver Control Engage/Disengage
button. Distance From Paver Control must not start.
The following screen must appear on electronic
display.
3. Contact a Weiler dealer if Distance From Paver
Control Interlock does not function correctly.
Elevator/Conveyor Floor Liner Plates - Inspect
Check elevator and conveyor floor liner plates for wear. Replace liner plates when worn down to a
thickness of 0.125 inches (3 mm).
