DANGER
Electric shock possible. Death or serious injury will result from
inadequate clearance or contact with an energized power line.
Stay away from an energized power line. Maintain a clearance of at least
10 ft (3 m) between machine components, including the operator, and any
electrical line carrying up to 50,000 volts (50 kv). Add one additional foot
of clearance for every additional 30,000 volts (30 kv) or less. Allow for
power line sway.
Ground personnel must stay away as machine approaches or is near an
energized power line.
Electric utility provider must de-energize power lines before approaching.
WARNING
Slipping and falling off storage hopper platform may result in death or
serious injury.
• Raise guard rails when entering storage hopper observation platform.
• Do not enter storage hopper observation platform when machine is
moving.
• Always maintain 3-point contact when on service platform. Do not
step onto elevator sloped surfaces.
WARNING
Moving conveyor slats can crush or cut off fingers and hands.
Never reach into conveyor chute or insert a cleanout tool into conveyor
chute when conveyor is moving. Turn engine off before cleaning or
working on conveyor.
WARNING
Falling load can crush.
Stay clear of lifted hopper insert.
