Preparing Machine
5. Install end gates (6) with skid shoes, on inside of
hopper sides.
NOTICE: Do not install cover plate (not shown) over
hopper side plate slots when assembled as a windrow
attachment. Cover plate is only installed when
assembled as a dump hopper attachment.
6. Install compression spring (7) in retainer cups (8).
7. If equipped, install optional windrow shaper (9).
8. Slide windrow shaper assembly into dump hopper
frame. Fasten with 8 bolts (10) from inside hopper
side panels.
9. Install front cross member (11) if equipped.
10. Adjust caster wheel height. (Refer to
"Caster Wheel
Height Adjustment", page 3-17.)
