4 While holding the guide tool in place, gently slide the DCM II 1 mm
micro-socket wrench up the center of the guide tool until it seats on
the tip nut.
It may be necessary to slowly rotate the micro-socket wrench in order
seat the tip nut properly in the micro-socket wrench as shown in
Figure B-17.

5 Turn the micro-socket wrench counterclockwise, shown on the left in
Figure B-18 on page B-13, until the tip is fully detached from the
shaft.
6 Slowly slide both the micro-socket wrench and guide tool down off
the head as shown on the right in
Figure B-18 on page B-13.
