4 PROTECTION FUNCTION & LOGIC FUNCTIONS
4.1 Overview
This section describes the ADR233B Transformer Management IED settings, including the
protection elements and basic functions, control Input/output logic as well as the settings
associated with the protection function.
Application Data
It describes the list of information that one will need to know about the protected equipment
before calculating the relay settings.
Global Settings
It enlists general settings and communication port settings.
Ph Differential
It describes the two winding Phase Differential settings and logic needed for two winding
transformer protection.

Describes all the restricted earth fault protection settings and logic needed for protection for the
restricted earth fault protection.
W1 Phase OC/ W2 Phase OC
Describes all Non Directional over current settings and logic needed for protection for the Phase
over current fault.
